MEISTER – a mid 20th century moonstone and diamond brooch. Designed as a scattered series of oval moonstone cabochons and brilliant-cut diamonds, within the textured foliate, abstract cluster. Signed Meister. Estimated total diamond weight 1.30cts. Length 7.5cms. Weight 62.8gms. With maker’s case.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Diamonds well matched. Diamonds bright. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Moonstones are a well matched translucent white colour, with blue adularescence. Moonstones in good condition with minor abrasions. Total moonstone weight 44cts. Stamped 750.
