Gilbert Albert Information and Price Guide

Gilbert Albert is a contemporary and prestigious jeweller who has been awarded many honours including winning the Diamonds International Award ten times. He is known for his bold and inventive creations inspired by nature and opened his first workshop in Geneva in 1962 before expanding into Zurich in the early 1980’s. He was born in Geneva in 1930 and his art jewels have been exhibited worldwide including Paris, London and New York.

Brooch. GG 750/000, signed: GA Gilbert Albert 9343 750, slightly stretched stingray leather with a delicately dotted stone plate, central and elongated freshwater pearl, 3 diamonds approx. 0.07 ct, tw-vsi , The diamonds are discreetly attached on the side. The two surfaces (in brown-beige shades) are superimposed airily and are surrounded by the typical gold design of the Swiss artist. To stabilize both surfaces are underlaid with gold sheet.
